What causes diarrhea and flatulence?

I am experiencing extreme flatulence,very loud and embarrassing, and occasionally diarrhea also.

Thanks for posting the query.

The flatulence and the diarrhea could be due to loss of gut bacteria.
Did you take any course of antibiotic in recent?
Many a times this symptom is seen in gluten and lactose intolerance.

I suggest you to take any probiotic drink or a powder mixed with a glass of water. 3 times a day for 3 to 4 days. This will help in replenishing the gut bacteria.

Avoid dairy products and wheat products for a week or so.
Have lot of fluids.
By all these measures you'll feel better with in 3 to 4 days of time.

Any issues do follow up.
