Suggest Medication For A Rash On Arm

I am on Valium and I know that was unsafe , I have a rash on my arms . What should I do for it ? I mixed alcohol when we went to dinner about 6 hours after taking it . I have a lot of allergies and the rash is only on my arms ...I will never do that again......

Hi Dear,

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of rashes on arm which can occur due to allergic reaction or side effects of medicine.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to keep this area clean and dry and keep it away from sun exposure. You should apply cream containing azelaic acid and apply warm compresses with soaked towel. You should avoid touching or pricking rashes. If condition doesn't get better then consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor will examine physically along with blood test and sample for lab test . Doctor may prescribe immunosuppressants , antibiotics like clindamycin , anti inflammatory medications. Apply ice pack on rashes 2-3 times a day.
