What Causes Recurring Red Blotches On The Back?

I have red blotches that has broken on me after my doctor proscribed some medication (Zoloft). He put me on this medication for hot flashes, after about 30 days of taking the medication I broke out. I stopped taking the medication and the doctor put me on Prednisone it dried up the skin rash and as soon as I finished taking the medication the red blotches has come back
