Should I Continue Ear Drops For Yellow Discharge From Ear?
my 20 year old son was diagnosed with an ear infection yesterday - extreme pain no discharge - emergency doctor diagnosed an infection and prescribed oral antibiotics and Otosporin ear drops - today he has a clear yellowish discharge constantly from the ear, should we continue with the drops?

Hi, I have read your query .
In my opinion , your son having acute otitis media. you should stop Otosporin ear drops & continue antibiotic.
Start Steam Inhalation, Antihistaminic levocetirizine + Montelukast & Decongestant nasal drops .
Keep ear clean and dry.
Certainly above treatment will give you much relief but if relief .Consultation with your ENT doctor will become essential if you donot get relief.
