Should I See A Doctor For A Black Spot On Tonsils After It Was Swollen?
I have had a sore throat since yesterday and overnight I had hot and cold sweats .. This morning my tonsils are extremely swollen and covered in pus .. I have been put on amoxicillin by my doc this morning but now have a big black spot on my left tonsil.. Should I go back to the doctor or to the er ?

I think you can wait for another 24 hours and continue the amoxicillin , if the pain does not subside or the hole becomes bigger , i would like you to meet your doctor again for further advice and treatment.Meanwhile i would like you to start gargling with warm salt water 2-3 times a day.
