Should I Be Worried About Swollen Lymph Nodes On Neck Even After Taking Medicine?

Hi doctors, I have a lymph nodes on the back of my neck near to my right ear. At first it was just like a bean size but it hurts and it begun to swell, I was confident that maybe it will just disappear but two weeks later the swollen was still there. Because I am worried, I went to the doctor, and she gave me a prescription, but the medicine had a slow effect instead another lymph nodes appear, near to the old one and two near to the temple of my right ear. So I went to another doctor, and he prescribed me another medicine which is more stronger and now, he said there was an infection on my lymph nodes, the beans-size lymph nodes was not there but the swelling was still there. I am on my third day on taking the medicine that was prescribed and he gave me one week. Should I worried? I am still a student and this condition really affecting my studies I can t concentrate. I am 24 years old male, Asian.

Hi Welcome to Health care magic forum.
The lymph node in this area is usually due to the infection in the surrounding area of the gland. It may be due to the ear infection, infection in the mouth, or head lice.
Don't worry you will be fine with the present medicine, if not completely gone, you may need another course.
Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts and
protein rich food, to help the recovery.
Wising for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
