Red Bumps On Trunk Area, Erupt On Skin, Pain, Tiny White Head, No Itching. Cure?
red bumps on my trunk area that feel like a sting when they erupt on my skin . they hurt until i scrape away the tiny white head on them. i get 2-4 new ones each day for the past week or two, have at least 40 on my trunk area with just a few on my arms/ shoulder areas. they do not itch , and they are not zits. they are painful until i get that white head off by scraping them.

it could be...FOLLICULITIS...,
it is Bacterial infection....caused by STAPHYLOCOCCUS bacteria..,
1) Thorough washing and cleansing of the affected part..
by using Antibacterial soap..,
2) Apply MUPIROCIN cream...T-Bact..gsk.,
3) Cap...Cepahlexin 500 mg 2 times daily for 5 days...,
4) Tab Acyclofenac and paracetamol 2 times daily.,until pain subsides
5) Avoid spicy and sour items..,

Hai, Possibly your problem may be due to Hair folliculitis or a superficial skin infection due to Staphylococcal origin or a furunculosis. A course of antibiotics along with vitamins, plenty of oral fluids, and bath using some anti-microbial soaps will help you to get out of your problem. Nothing serious. Consult your physician. He will help you and wish you a speedy recovery. Dr SM
