i had sex with my boy friend for first time . i had to go under a lot of pain while insertion and it was difficult for him to insert it either. since yesterday i have pain in my lower abdomen though i had my periods over two days before having sex .AND I HAVE TAKEN pills also.Am i still pregnant ??and once my vagina has expanded will it contract agin or is it expanded ??also while insertion i had feeling of tear and break ???
Hello Thanks for writing to us. The feeling of tear and break during insertion was because the rupture of the hymen generally occurs during the first act of penile penetration during intercourse. Also, you have not mentioned which pills you have taken. If you have taken emergency contraceptive pills within 24 hours, then you are 95 % protected against pregnancy. ALso, having mild pains after the first act of intercourse is quite common. Do not worry. Switch to a reliable method of contraception if you plan on being sexually active. Take care.
