Need Information About Occipital Lymphadenitis.

TODAY I FOUND SWOLLEN AREA RIGHT LOWER SIDE OF MY SCALP SENSITIVE TO TOUCH. WAS TOLD IT COULD BE OCCIPITAL LYMPHADENITIS (RT SIDED). WILL SEE MY PRIVATE M.D. MONDAY. DO YOU HAVE IN ANY MORE INFO THAT CAN BE ADDED TO THIS FINDING OF THE CAUSE. THANK YOU JULIA FOUST

sudden swelling of scalp leading to occipital lymphadenitis could be a serious condition.
It could be anything ranging from lymphadenitis due to dandruff to malignancy.
Kindly do not ignore it.Have it properly investigated & be treated.
