My throat hurts, only on the right side!

Well, I felt fine yesterday, and now today, I felt my throat. The outside of my throat, on the right side under my ear. And, it hurt. So I grabbed a flashlight, and looked on the inside of my throat, and the right side is swollen. I can feel congestion running too. I have a small fever of 99.3 and I feel like I'm overheating. I also have sore muscles. What is wrong with me and how can I treat this? I

monitor your fever if it goes any higher than that would indicate an infection.  totally try the salt water rinse.  you could have a bad sinus infection which is now draining into your throat which will cause definite discomfort.  i would take one of those tylenol servere cold and flu medicines.  the liquid one seems to work better but thats just my opinion. and sleep and drink a lot of water. it should probably flush itself out of you.  feel better

it seems u r suffering from the same symptoms which one of my friends had. it suggestive tht You are suffering from infection. get in touch with your ENT specialist. Meanwhile gargle with luke warm water with some added salt.
