Is Pink Discharge A Result Of Frequent Sexual Interaction Or PCOS?

I am a 32 year old female. 5'1" and 135 lbs. I have had 3 children and I have poly cystic ovary syndrome. I have periods about every 40 days. This is relatively new development since I moved 6 months ago. I used to have periods randomly. Anywhere between every 3 months to 1x a year. I very recently lost weight rapidly (about 10 lbs) due to a family crisis. I wasn't eating much. I started eating normally about 2 days ago.

Haven't had sex much...Husband and I are re-connecting and now having sex daily. A couple of times this week I have had some bleeding after sex. First time was heavier, last time was just a bit (both times the discharge was pink). Is this because of increased frequency? Or do i have to worry about something else? I was recently treated for a yeast infection too.

OBGYN 's  Response
Hello,
The most likely causes for bleeding after an intercourse are-rough intercourse, infections of the vagina and cervix, erosion of the cervix, polyps of the cervix and endometrium and hormonal factors. I would ask you to get a proper evaluation by a specialist and get necessary investigations. If needed, you may have to abstain until a proper diagnosis is made and appropriate treatment is given. You would need swabs from the vagina and the cervix, a pap smear, sonogram of the pelvis, preferably in the trans-vaginal route, urinalysis and blood counts. Hope this helps.
