Is Being Feverish After A Tetanus Injection Normal In A Pregnant Women?

HI, this is karthi from India. My wife she is pregnant and she has completed 5 months in pregnancy. yesterday we had an regular checkup with the doctor. In checkup my wife is vaccinated with tetanus injection. today she is feverish. Did we want consult the doctor again or this is normal?

Hello sir,I understand your concern.In my opinion fever might not be due to vaccine.See for any associated features like flu,any urinary problems like burning urination or any.You can take paracetamol tablet for fever and cold sponging and see for 2 days.If fever is not decreasing or any associated features you see consult your gynaecologist for apt treatment.Take adequate fluids upto 2 to 3 litres.
