Hi,
Considering the entire clinical picture, it appears that you could be having a distorted hormonal balance; the most common cause is polycystic ovaries. You would need a complete hormonal profile and a trans-vaginal sonogram. You should see an endocrinologist in consultation with your doctor. You would need to test for insulin resistance also. Weight disturbances and stress, use of certain medications and infections also cause menstrual disorders. Please maintain a healthy weight and do some regular daily exercise. Appropriate treatment after a complete evaluation would be useful. If needed, please contact an experienced gynecologist for a second opinion. Take care.
