Irregular Periods. Taking Medication. How Many Days Will I Get Matured Eggs Post Injection?
Hi Doctor, I am 26 year old TTC. married for 2 yrs nw. My periods are irregular. My doctor has given me meprate and I have got my periods yesterday. From day 2 she suggested to take sephene for 5 days and from day 3 alternate, folliculin 75g for 3 days. My question is after how many days will I get the matured eggs post the injection ???

You have not mentioned about your past follicular study if done. These drugs are given to promote the follicles to get enlarged within the appropriate time and release the egg. Once the follicles are fully grown it will release the egg. If the follicle did not attain its full size within the 13th day of your LMP, it is doubtful to attain maximum size to release the egg. These drugs are given to prepare the ovulation. They are given for the folliclcles to attain the full size and release the ovum. The egg is approximately released from the 12th day to 15th day of your LMP depending upon your menstrual cycle.
What exactly was the problem and why these drugs were given depends upon the previous follicular study.
