Infant With Cough And Running Nose, Loss Of Appetite. Is This Normal Flu?

Hello doc, my baby is 10 months old having weight 7.7 kgs weight. She is having cough and running nose since 1 week and her temp is going 102 in the evening and around 101 during night. Temp is coming down after givin her crocin. She has completely lost her appetite.. Please help. Is it normal flu or something else.. How long will this continue?

Hi
A ususal Flu like disease last for around 7 days. However at the end of 5-7 days, if the fever is showing an upward trend, it would be wise to get her blood tested or at least consult your nearest pediatrician. Neverthless see that your baby's hydration is maintained by continuing breast feeding.
