Welcome to HCM
Greetings for the day
Antibiotics have no role in management of diarrhea unless there is blood/mucous in stools or there is fever. Pediatric diarrhea are self limiting and also the infants have increased stool frequency(they pass stools after every feeds due to gastro-colic reflex) which tends to normalize with age. Don't be worried as long as the baby is feeding well, there is no blood/mucous, no crying, and there is no dehydration. Also remember improper use of Antibiotics them-self cause Antibiotic induced Diarrhea. Maintain the hydration and feeding, rest all will be taken care by the body. Pro-biotics can be used.

Pediatrician Dr. Vikash Kumar Kedia's  Response
if your child is not dehydrated and accepting oral foods thn you just need to continue with zinc and ORS.most of the episodes of diarrhoea in babies are self limiting.around 6-7 months when baby is started on solid foods these diarrhoeal episodes starts in babies.maintain proper hygiene, wash hands properly before giving food to baby, offer food in clean untensils, give fresh prepared food and not stored one are some basic concepts in maintaining hygiene.
around this age also teeths starts errupting in babies.when such happens gums of babies become swollen and they feel irritated due to which they develop habit of putting anything around to them in mouth.this again can be a source of infection and can lead to diarrhoea.
