Hurt In Pubic Area. Purple And Swollen With Blood. Is It A Infection?

I changed into new underwear today and i felt something hurt around my pubic hair , i looked at it and it was really purple and looked swolen, but was flesh like, i thought it was possibly a ingrown hair gone bad, but it wasnt when i popped it it hurt more then anything ive ever experienced, it spurted out blood everywhere and is still there but bled for a little bit.

1. examination is more important than history in this case, as nothing conclusive can be told on the basis of information provided.
2. Check with a Medicine Specialist or General Surgeon for Physical Examination, because purple means injury is little deep inside the tissue. [from cyst to cellulitis]
