How To Treat Sore Throat / Swollen Glands After A Bout Of Tonsillitis?

i had tonsilitis for two weeks and now i have a very sore throat and swollen glands. the tonsilistis was treated the first week with antibiotics but came back a few days later. i then got this very sore throat and then some swollen glands . do i need any treatment or blood test?

The repeated sore throat can be because of the reactivation of the microorganisms or reduced immunity. Nothing to be panic, consult an ENT surgeon and get it evaluated. Mean while you can take a course of antibiotics like amoxicillin and metronidazole combination( if you are not allergic). Get a complete blood investigation done. I hope i have answered your query
