How To Treat A Sore Throat And Related Tiredness?

Sore throat on the left hand side (comes and goes), no energy, tired after 8 hours sleep per night glands sore in neck (small lumps, been the same way for 10 yrs), all blood tests clear after seeing gp, sick for 5 weeks, have had ebv prior to the last 3 months (blood test result). Doctor sending me to general physician

Your GP is on the right way. .

Here you have history of EBV infection and you are having enlarge gland or lymph node in cervical region...
So you should consult physician for examination and lymph node palpation ..

For infectious mononucleosis serological test and peripheral blood smear examination done ....

Symptomatic management done.
Lots of fluid...
Fried and fatty food less....
Smoking avoided...if habit....

Salt water gargles done ....

If symptoms increasing then antibiotic given...

If congestive symptom present antihistaminic given...
