How To Stop Brown Discharge And Delay Periods?
Hi, I've been taking microgynon for a while now as a contraceptive. I recently skipped my period because of inconvenience, but now I get brown discharge, sometimes bleeding and period pains whilst taking the pill. I now have a problem, because I'm on holiday when the next period is due, and I don't want to be bleeding whilst on holiday, nor do I want to get discharge/random bleeds.

You are on Microgynon and have period pains and brown discharge. You are experiencing side effects of Microgynon like spotting and brown discharge. Other side effects are breakthrough bleeding, missed periods, headache, mood changes, etc. To delay periods you can take Norethindrone, three tablets a day, starting three to four days before you expect your period to begin. Once you stop taking the medicine your periods will start in 3-4 days. You should not take it for more than two weeks (14 days). Avoid addictions if any for the best efficacy. Avoid stress.
