How Long Does A Paralytic Stroke Take To Get Completely Cured?

Hi I have had a stroke right side infarct around 4 months ago and my left side got paralyzed with continouous PT im now able to walk with the help of atick but my hand is stillnot improved. usualy how much time it takes to get full recovery and is ther any other treatment thatcan improve me quickly

Thank you for posting your query.

I have noted that you have suffered left sided paralysis due to involvement of right side of brain.

The best treatment for brain stroke in the acute phase is thrombolytic (clot buster) therapy with tissue plasminogen activator injection.

After that, the only treatment is physiotherapy and rehabilitation. It should be continued for long.

Recovery after stroke varies depending on the location of stroke, as well as the size of infarct (blood clot). However, recovery continues to occur for two years after stroke onset.
