Hello,
Since there is no fracture in ribs or any other structure in chest, you seem to be suffering from crush injury or muscle strain in the musculature of chest wall.
Since chest expands and contracts during breathing, the healing of muscle injuries of chest take time to heal.
There is nothing to worry.
Avoid lifting weight or doing any exercise.
Take anti inflammatory like ibuprofen 400 mg three times a day for 5 to 7 days.
Apply local heat 2 to 3 times aday.
You should be all right in next 10 to 14 days.
Muscle injuries take three weeks to heal.
Thanks

as there is no bony fractures detected radiological so nothing to be more concern about it .
pain is due to muscular or soft tissue injury and it will take time of two weeks
all you have to do is take proper rest , do not do hard work
hot fomentation increases blood supply to area and help to heal
as for as Ayurvedic medicne is concerned you can take take Lakshadi Guggul in dose of one tab thrice daily and apply himsagar taila with out massage

1. as x- ray shows no abnormality thus it can be termed as chest 'discomfort' rather pain.
2. hot water fomentation 3 times a day.
3. because it comes on lying down one has to rule out GERD apart from costo chondritis.
4.
ras sindoor 125 mg
sinhand guggulu 500mg
shunthi churan 1 gm with luke warm water thrice a day.
. massage with kupilu tail.
