Having Discharges From Vagina. Have Small Infections. Took Antibiotics. Now Brown Discharge. Problem?

Hi, i'am a 26 years old woman, I have been facing the past 2 weeks some kind of embarrassing discharges from my Vagina
It first started thick white and I had small infections that went out, than I took some anti biotics that helped a little bit, and I felt better, but than at the end of last week I had some brownish liquid coming from time to time knowing that my period would be next weekend most probably, so sir is this serious?
PS: I have an appointment with a doctor the 3 rd of July
Thank you

Hello and welcome to HCM.

Thank you for your query.

The presence of a white (curdy?) discharge does indicate the presence of a sexually transmitted infection. These antibiotics you took were self-prescribed or by a doctor? If they were prescribed by a doctor, I hope you completed the course, and did not discontinue them as soon as you started feeling better? If you did, this could be a sign of the infection returning.

The presence of a brownish discharge is a sign of an infection or other pregnancy-related issues. Sometimes a brownish discharge can be seen even during menstruation. Are you experiencing any other symptoms? When was your last sexual contact before the appearance of the whitish discharge? All these factors are really important, and I would thus request you to consult your doctor at the earliest to get examined.

I hope I have succeeded in providing the information you were looking for. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications. I would gladly help you.

Best wishes.
