Hello and welcome to HCM.

Thank you for your query.

Your symptoms do resemble a condition called gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). But let me list a few possibilities for the same:
-GERD
-Peptic ulcer disease (which has been ruled out in your case)
-Hiatus hernia (should have been noticed during the endoscopic examination)
-Irritable bowel syndrome
-Inflammatory bowel disease
-Gastritis

Please discuss the possibilities and rule out/diagnose the above mentioned conditions. Also, please note that if GERD has been diagnosed, your treatment regimen should include: antacids, proton pump inhibitors, H2 blockers, prokinetic agents (to strengthen the lower esophageal sphincter), etc.

I hope I have succeeded in providing the information you were looking for. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications. I would gladly help you.

Best wishes.

Hi thanks for your question.
You have been diagnosed as having GERD,that is gastero esophageal reflux disorder.GERD causes pain abdomen ,burning sensation in stomach and sore throat. There are various causes for GERD.I would suggest you to consult a gasteroenterolgist who may be able to perform upper G I endoscopy on you to determine cause of GERD.Endoscopy will also be helpful in establishing any other reason for pain abdomen.Depending upon cause he/she may prescribe you appropriate treatment .Nexium 40 mg will give you symptomatic relief for time bein but will not cure GERD.Alcohal and spicy food are stimulus for acid production and acid increases GERD.Avoid alcohal and spicy food.
Hope this answers your question.
