Have History Of Erythema Nodosum On Lower Legs, Lump On Lower Right Leg With Pus.Is This Lymph?
I have a history of erythema nodosum on my lower legs (2007). I have had a fluid-filled lump on my lower right leg 2 below the knee. I finally mustered the courage to draw the fluid from the lump with a 30unit syringe. It was clear, and I extracted 60 units. Is this lymph?
I am quite surprised to know that you tried to draw fluid by yourself without any medical aid. It is very much dangerous to do such activity without aseptic precautions. You should take a course of antibiotic under medical supervision and get yourself immunized for tetanus by its vaccine.
Do not at all try to do such stuff as the area can get secondarily infected. I suggest you to meet a doctor at the earliest so that any serious issue can be prevented.
Do not try to pinch or pop the area in future.
Take care.
