What Are The Side Effects Of Ampiclox Medicine?

what are the side effects of ampiclox intake My doctors prescribed ampiclox to me after suggesting that I had chest infection,one day after I started taking it I found big erythema on the skin and also I was felling very intense itching on knee,elbow and ankle joints.Two/three days later I developed very severe headache.And now I m felling weak and urticaria and also nausea,then can all these be due to ampiclox I was given?

Hi,

Yes, these rashes could be allergic reactions to the drug. Penicillin group of drugs cause allergy very commonly. You can switch to other group of drugs since you have had a hypersensitivity reaction. Antihistamines or steroids can be used to reduce the symptoms.
