They told me it anxity but i dont understand. its contastly beating fast even when resting it never slows down. my chest aches, i feel tired all the time, i get pains in my left side of my chest. It really scares me somtimes and i dont know what is going on. I feel really strong pulsations in my neck ,and face and up into my nose area is this all normal. Hi Lucy,
Thanks for posting your query. I am happy to address your questions, a healthy heart beats at a rate of 60 to 100 times per minute. It may beat faster under some conditions such as exercise, fear, stress, anxiety or fever but that's normal. When your heartbeat speeds up for no apparent reason, however, that may be a sign of an abnormally rapid heartbeat, a condition called tachycardia (tachy means fast; cardia refers to the heart). Tachycardia can cause the heart to beat faster than 100 beats per minute, in some cases racing up to 400 beats per minute. Will recommend you consult your physician for diagnosing any associated conditions. Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions, I will be happy to help. Thanks
