Have Calcified Fibroids. History Of UFE. Have Excessive Bleeding. Your Thoughts?
Hi I just found out I have multiple calified fibroids both anterior and posterior. I had a ufe done in 2011 but I still have excessive bleeding sometimes it feels like I'm hemmoraging. My gyn has not contacted me yet about the results as I got my own copy. Im thinking its time for a hysterectomy. Would like to know your thoughts on this.
Hi, as you have calcified fibroids, and heavy bleeding, i suppose if you have children, and crossed the child bearing age, you can get the hysterectomy done. Hemorrhages tend to cause anemia, and may leed to have still more hemorrhage. So first you get your hemoglobin checked, and use medicines for correction with the advise of your doctor, then proceed for hysterectomy. Thank you.
