Have PCOS. Getting Migraines. Taking Diane. Normal To Take Diane When Change In Cycle.
I'm 38 and have been on Diane 35 for 13 years. I am taking this particular pill as I have PCOS and had some cysts that burst 13 years ago. All has been fine but recently I was getting bad migraines that I would endure for at least 3 days when I started my period. My doctor changed the way (ie in days) I took the Diane. I now take 3 months and then have my period. Was fine the first 3 month cycle (February) after I had my next cycle which and had my last period (April) I have had brown spotting for the last 2.5 weeks. I don't have pain as such but a light period pain which is more prevalant in the evening. No there is no chance that I am pregnant. Is this normal when you change the cycle you take Diane? Should I consult my doctor?
Hi dear user, thanks for asking to us. As per your history, your symptoms are brown discharge and pain. In my opinion you are suffering from some genital infection. You and your partner should take combination kits containing azithromycin 1g, fluconazole 150mg and two tablet of ornidazole 750mg ; which covers most of the common genital infections. In addition, you should maintain your personal hygiene and use barrier contraceptives.
Hope this helps.
