I got injury on 06 july and as on today slight swelling is only on crack portion with an area of 8 sq mm(2x4). I used English antibiotic and pain killer medicines for a week. Hello. Welcome to hcm.
Fractures should be treated with pop cast so that they hold the fracture parts together and they fuse. Crepe bandage and massage causes the hematoma formed for fracture healing to dislodge and can delay healing. Also it can cause bones to fuse in abnormal way.
I advice you to listen to what your doctor says and get pop cast before its too late. Get a xray done to see if fracture is healing or not. Dont massage the fracture site.
All the best
