on june 29th 2011 i had my gallbladder removed to try & resolve problems with consistent ongoing pain & swelling under miy right ribcage even though none of my tests showed positively it was my gall bladder , the surgeon who removed it said it was basically a solid mass a scar tissue he had to cut into pieces to remove since my surgery was laparoscopic. So i thought that i had made the right choice, but within a few weeks i was back telling My Dr. the Surgeon & the digestive disease specialist they had me going too that there was still something wrong, for a year know one listened or would go back in to look when i begged & even stopped prescribing me any pain medication. after making a finally plea to the surgeon who removed my gallbladder a couple months ago, he still refused to do exploratory, but agreed to send me for another this would be the 3rd in year & 1/2 CT Scan i have had done. when they gave me the results they said i had several large cysts on both my ovaries and should see a GYN. as soon as possible, but that there was nothing wrong under my ribs. i was so flustered i wouldnt even go back to see any of my doctors, after My Mother begged i went and got a referral & went to see a GYN WHO AT FIRST WAS VERY STAND OFFISH, because pretty much my medical records from my previous pcp & surgeon felt the only pain i was in was from long term use of pain medication & for some reason that im bi polar, that i most likely exaggerate my pain. we decided to try a procedure called nova sure (quick, easy) & monitor the cyst, i ask Please since you have to put me to sleep anyways cant you just go in and look laparoscopic, he agreed, the day of my procedure My new GYN. decided to do the exploratory first, he never did the nova sure, closed the incisions & went to the waiting area to take my Mom back & show pictures of the huge cysts that were covering my ovaries some ruptured & oozing and explain i had sever endometriosis covering large portions of my abdominal cavity , that he could help me & that he understood why & believed everything i said about the pain i was in.. 10 days ago i had a total hysterectomy with Da Vinci, i had specifically asked My Dr. to look under my right rib cage again & he did where he found more endometriosis as well as on my liver.. i have be doing great since the 4hr long surgery & i love this Dr. everyone is so excited because already i feel so much better 7 healthier in so many ways & i have been so sick for almost 2 years now,, but i can already fell that frictions & pulling pain that swelling under my right ribs just like after my last surgery. i dont even want to tell anyone & disappoiont them, fluster them, or not be believed.. everyone is so happy for me i dont want to ruin that, i would rather be in pain & not say anything if its something that cant be fixed then watch & know that people that love me go through what the last year has been like. i dont know what to do.
