Does Vaginal Suppositaries Cause Excess Of Flow Of White Discharge?
Hi I have been using vaginal suppositaries 'balance activ' I had thrush becuase of some antibiotics, with a table this cleared up the itching but I still had a milky white discharge. I have had BV before so took the suppositaries, I have now taken four for the last four days. I still have a white discharge, is this normal? What should I expect with the suppositaries? Also how long should it be before it clears up. I near usually have much discharge.
Hello and welcome to HCM, As per your history you have/are suffering from two infections- fungal infection and bacterial vaginosis. These two infections are treated by using anti-fungals and antibiotics. Treatment of two infections is marked by disappearance of symptoms of infection. Increased vaginal discharge is commonly caused by infections. However, if the discharge persists despite treatment of the infection, you need to get a clinical examination by your gynecologist. Cervical erosion or ectropion could be the cause of increased vaginal discharge. This condition if present can be treated.
