My question is about perimenopause. And am age 52 and I have had irregular periods for about 3 years now. Sometimes they were light, sometimes heavy and in the last year they were lasting a full week but always a different schedule approximately every 21 days or less. It s been about 2 months since my last cycle. Would it be safe to say that I am entering perimenopause? I was told at my last obgyn appointment that I could expect to be within two years and that was about two years ago.
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. It appears that you are going to have the menopause, but don't worry, it is natural procedure. The irregular periods may be due to the anemia, infection, or the pre menopause. I advise you to consult a gynecologist for diagnosis and treatment. Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods to hasten the recovery. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
