Does Implant Still Works After Its Removal And Formation Of Cellulitis?

I had my implant removed and replaced and ended up getting cellulitis in that area. I have been prescribed flucloxicillin and want to know if the implant will still work or will it be affected by the cellulitus or the antibiotics? Do I need to take extra precautions?

Hi
Thanks for your query
Most of the time if the cellulitis is of mild form(can be judged by blood test like white blood cell count,C reactive protein CRP,Erythrocyte sedimentation rate ESR)
antibiotic does work wonderfully, along with drug to reduce swelling like trypsin/chymotrypsin which your doctor knows, just discuss.
As far as precaution is concerned take adequate rest .
Take care
