Does Absence Of Gestational Sac Indicate Ectopic Pregnancy?

Hi there. I am 25.my LMP was on 24 th june.bhcg and UPT confirmed that I was pregnant which was done on aug 7th. my doc advsd me to take a scan abdominal ultrasound and report said no gestational scan seen. doc has adviced me to take a transvaginal scan on coming wednesday. I m worried about ectopic pregnancy. please advice.

1)The possibility of ectopic pregnancy cannot be ruled out.

2) Please get beta hCG blood test done to correlate the same
