Hello and thanks,
I am Dr Nilajkumar a consultant gynecologist and I will be helping you in your queries.

I understand your problem. It seems that there was a threatened abortion and some amount of blood collected inside.
Unfortunately it is not in our hands to completely prevent it. This is what the doctor meant. Drugs like progesterone help in many cases along with absolute bed rest. If bleeding occurs again, there is a possibility of abortion.

I understand your concern. But the best you can do now is give your wife bed rest and progesterone. Avoid sexual contact.
Most of the women do well with this treatment and have a successful pregnancy.
Hope this was helpful.

Thanks for using HCM.
Have a good day.
