Can Microgynon Be Used An Emergency Contraceptive After Sex?
Hi.. I had unprotected sex lastnight. I have forgotten to take my microgynon birth control pills. Is there any way I can use these pills as emergency contraception? As there is no way I can get to a chemist or doctors for the morning after pill. Please help!! Thankyou

Yes, you can take Microgynon as an emergency contraceptive pill. It is slightly less effective than Plan B and i-pill. To use Microgynon as an emergency contraceptive, you have to take 4 pills and then another 4 pills in 12 hours.
