Hydrogen peroxide mouth rinse is used only in specific gingival conditions and for a specific period of time. Normally a chlorhexidine or a fluoride mouth rinse can be used on a daily basis.

hydrogen peroxide can be used as an oral rinse in specific conditions only
so never take them regularly ,,,specifically if ur not seeing a dentist on a regular basis
try using mouthwashes containing chlorhexidine on a regular basis they r more compatible with dailly use

Hydrogen peroxide can be used only if its a chronic case of gum abscess or abscess at the tip of the root of a tooth.In long standing cases where we suspect the involvement of anaerobic organisms.Its sometimes used to remove tobacco stains from teeth.It can also be used to do RCT of chronic dead(non vital) teeth.
dont take it continuously for max. more than a week......my suggestion
rather use other antimicrobial mouthwash.....

hi welcome to HCM.Hydrogen peroxide as mouthwash will kill bacteria and viruses in your mouth.Gargling with hydrogen peroxide will get the hydrogen peroxide in contact with the back of you mouth and throat. The longer you gargle, the more time it has to kill germs. you should not swallow this.for daily usage you have to ask your dental doctor.
Hydrogen peroxide shouldnt be used as mouthwash on a regular basis, even prolonged use of chlorhexidine can stain your teeth... better option can be alcohol based mouth rinses like colgate plax or listerine...

hydrogen peroxide can bleach your teeth if you will use it daily, as it is used in special cases..
have other available mouthwashes,, but do not use them for very long, or they will stain your teeth,gums and tongue.
