Can Hard Lump In The Labia Major Which Pains When Pressed Indicate Cellulitis?

i have a hard lump in the labia major with swelling and is painful when pressed on when I walk or sit. I went to the er and they stuck a needle in it to drain but nothing came out. they said it was cellulitis but I've had cellulitis and it has never looked like my labia majora does now. Could they be wrong. cause it is not hot to the touch and I have no fever associated with it.

OBGYN 's  Response
Hi. The swelling you are having can be Bartholin cyst which causes pain on walking or sitting. It is not an abscess or pus filled and that is why nothing came on needle prick. I will advise you to see a gynecologist and get one scan done and if nothing in pelvis, she will do marsupalisation of cyst ( cyst removal and kept open for draining). You should also send this for biopsy and confirm.
Thanks.
