Can Being On Implanon Affect Period?

ive have had implanon since 1/20/2011 its now what 4 5 months. on march i missed a period i recived my period on april and now on may ive missed it again i have come down with a cold ive been craving foods and also ive been really tired and i dont know if i could be preganant again i have 6 month old baby! im just worried because ive been drinking smoking i dont smoke every day but when my husband and i get to go out to the club we smoke wich is 1 or 2 days a month! so im just wondering can anyone help me =(?? im really worried

Hi,

Implanon is made of long acting progesterone derivative which is known to cause irregular bleeding. But till the Implanon is in place. You would be protected, no chance of pregnancy.
