Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Oxetol contains 'Oxcarbazepine' as an active ingredient. It works by stabilising the electrical activity of brain. It is used for the treatment of partial seizures and generalized tonic-clonic seizures.
Side effects which could be associated with its intake include: Shaking, Loss of memory, Low white blood cells, Lack of interest, Sensation of whirling, loss of balance and Low serum sodium level.
Torleva contains 'Levetiracetam' as an active ingredient. It works by decreasing the abnormal excitation of the brain. It is used for the treatment of partial onset seizures, seizure that affects the entire brain as well as involuntary muscle jerk in people with epilepsy.
Side effects encountered with the use of this medication include: Aggravation of depression, Hair loss, Vertigo, Aggression, Anxiety and Constipation.
These side effects mentioned are possible, but do not always occur. Some of the side effects may be rare. Consult your doctor if you observe any of the above side effects, especially if they do not go away.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
