Are The Symptoms Of Dry Throat, Difficulty In Breathing And Indigestion Are Due To Pneumonia?

I had the flu starting last Sunday and ending ~Friday. Mild case with coughing, slight fever, headache, tired. Still suffering from productive cough and developed indigestion and chest discomfort Friday, and that symptom comes and goes. Today I have indigestion (burping and chest feels heavy), my throat feels dry and uncomfortable, and slightly difficult breathing. Do you think I may have pneumonia?

Hi and thanks for the query,
These are symptoms that could depict many diseases, some of the lungs and even of other organs like the digestive tract. Pneumonia is usually associated with chest pain and fever. It is often advised to do a chest X ray for an appropriate and exact diagnosis. A physical examination from your primary care doctor, coupled with a few tests would yield very rich results, orienting diagnosis and treatment.
