Applying Silverx Ointment On The Burn Caused By Trifluroacetic Acid. Suggest Me An Ointment To Cure Completely

Hi i am affected by chemical burn on my left upper hand. Due to trifluroacetic acid. doc advised me to take silverx ointment and now it seems to be cure.its approximately 3cm on my upper hand. Side edges seems to be cure but centre part can't. Pls suggest me what ointment need to take?

Hi,

I can understand your concern for the burn caused by Trifluroacetic acid. You have not mentioned in your query the exact time period since the burn happened.

For time being period you can apply antibiotic cream such as fucidin or mupirocin and take pain killer tablet such as paracetamol or diclofenac.

Do not try to even touch or pinch the lesions as can cause more aggravation of the problem or secondary infection. Try to keep your hand elevated so that the swelling should not occur. Increase your protein intake as it helps in wound healing.
