Am I Protected From Pregnancy If Started Birth Control Pills One Week After Periods And Having Spotting?

I restarted birth control pills after being off of them for two or three months. I started two weeks after my period and one week into my pack (three weeks after my period) I have been having dead blood spotting for six days. Am I protected from pregnancy?
