6 Days Late Periods, Negative Test Results. Trying To Conceive, Had Miscarriage. Is It Safe To Try If Cycle Does Not Return?

i am looking for some advice, my cycle is 6 days late done tests all negitive, we are trying for baby no 4, I had miscarraige with my third pregnancy and got a womb infection following my d&c, but have had three cycles since my cycles are always on time give take a 1 day. is it safe to keep trying if my cycle does not return yet ?

Yes, you can continue trying to conceive though your period is delayed but if it does not come you may want to visit your doctor to determine the reason for the irregularity.

Irregular or delayed periods can be due to : emotional or physical stress, high levels of a hormone called prolactin, extreme physical activity, inadequate diet, abnormal levels of thyroid hormone, polycystic ovarian syndrome.

If the period does not come within the next 5 to 8 days and the pregnancy test are still indicate that you are not pregnant then you can consider speaking or visiting your doctor.
