4 Weeks Pregnant. Tests Show Hb 9.6. Any Problems To Pregnancy?

hi doctor , im doctor mohamed , nephrologist from egypt
my wife is pregnant in 4 weeks , today we had make some investigation as following :
rubella : IgM , IgG NEGATIVE
toxoplasmosis : IgG (weak Positivr)
IgM ( Negative)
CMV : IgG ( POSITIVE 23.3) NORMAL UP TO 10
IgM ( Negative )
HCG : 3-4 WEEKS
Rh: positive
Hb: 9.6 ( Normal 12-15)
could you please advice me what shall we do ? and are there any problems regarding to her and preganacy ?

Thanks for your query.
Since you are a nephrologist yourself, you can easily surmise that your wife is anemic.
The rest of her investigations are normal.
Pregnancy anemia means a hemoglobin less than 11.
So she is having anemia.
Please consult your doctor for iron supplements from the 4th month onwards.
Increase intake of iron rich and protein rich foods in the diet.
investigate her for causes of anemia.
make sure deworming is done.
