Brief Answer:
most pain meds are avoided

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.

In liver cirrhosis many pain meds can cause worsening kidney function or gastric bleeding and are avoided. This includes aspirin, naproxen, diclofenac, etc.

Though Tylenol is itself toxic to liver in higher doses, in cirrhosis it can be used in lower doses, upto 2000 mg per day.

She can discuss further with her hepatologist regarding using Tylenol in lower doses.

Hope this helps.
Regards
