Brief Answer:
yes values are in normal range

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
Yes seeing the LFT values you mentioned, they look well in normal range which means the infection has subsided.
Hepatitis E is not harmful and once it has subsided chances of recurrence are almost nil.
But you need to be careful about drinking water as hepatitis E spreads through feco oral route from infected water. So better to drink from known source only or boiled water. Even ask your family members to do the same.
Yes you can take normal diet now. Usually diet is restricted during jaundice because the only reason is your body cannot digest it to full capacity as liver is infected and cannot produce sufficient enzymes to digest it. Hence nausea and vomiting sets in and sight of food only gives nausea.
But as your LFT looks good now, I think you can start with normal diet if you can eat it without having any nausea and you are feeling hungry. Start slow with bland food first then start with spicy, oily and non veg (if you consume).
I don't think there is any need to repeat the LFT as even now its in normal range. So not required.
Hepatitis A and E are pretty harmless as compared to B and C. So no danger to your liver as such. Do not worry.
I hope I have answered your query well.
If you have any questions kindly ask me back.
Thank you

Brief Answer:
Yes. you will take another 4 to 5 days to be totally fine

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for following up with me.
Yes the weakness and tiredness will be there for approximately 1 week after infection subsides. Your body has just fought with a big infection and it will get tired after it.
It is totally a normal phenomenon post hepatitis infection.
Take rest and I think better to start with bland diet only for another 3 4 days. As your body has not fully recovered it might resist diet with high enzyme requirement like non veg, oily foods and spicy items.
So stick to dal rice, chapati milk or bland vegetables for few more days.
No need of any medications. It will recover itself. Just give sometime to your body.
I feel you will fine in maximum 1 week time.
If you have any questions kindly ask me back will be happy to answer them.
Thank you

Brief Answer:
not a problem. eat normal food. that will suffice

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Good to hear that you are feeling lot better now.
Direct bilirubin 0.5 is not a problem. Bilirubin has come within normal range, thats inportant. Direct and indirect will keep on fluctuating within range. So just ignore those values if total bilirubin is within normal.
Yes jaundice does cause weight loss. Myself had lost 7-8 kg few year back. But trust me you do not need any health drink or health diet or anything.
You just have to resume your normal diet whenever you can start eating it without having nausea or discomfort and you will gain weight within 10-12 days.
These health drinks exert their effects through liver only and we do not want to insult the liver in any way just after recovering from hepatitis.
Eat only your usual normal food and you will be fine within 15 days with your normal weight as before. No need to any special diet or drinks to help it.
But if you really want something then I can siggest you syrup neogadine elixir which contains vitamins and it will make you feel hungry too. But frankly speaking you do not need it and fo not unnecessarily consume any med products. Eat your usual food as much you can and you will be fine.
Hope this advice helps you.
Any more questions are welcome.
Thank you
