Question: Hi - what do these urine results mean:

WBC'S, UA/HPF :          0-2
RBC, URINE HPF     :     0-3
BACTERIA, URINE HPF     :None
SQUAMOUS EPITHELIAL CELLS, URINE SED, AUTOMATED COUNT, QUAL     :     None
MUCOUS, UR SED, QL, AUTOMATED COUNT     :     Present
AMORPHOUS CRYSTALS, URINE SEDIMENT, AUTOMATED COUNT, QUAL     :     Few

The above urine report is NORMAL in all aspects. The mucous are present normally in the urine and so are a few crystals.

There is absolutely nothing to worry about as fas as this report is concerned.

CREATININE, URINE : 253.2
MICROALBUMIN/CREATININE : 25.0

Hi,

This part of report points towards diabetic nephropathy. To confirm , you need full blood renal function test and consultation with nephrologist.

As microalbumin level and urine creatinine level are quite above the normal range.
