Brief Answer:
RBC normally get decrease in pregnancy

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for writing to HCM,
I've gone through your query and understand your concern,

RBC normally becomes low in pregnancy due to increase in blood volume during pregnancy.
It is generally not a serious finding.
I am sure you must have been prescribed iron and folic acid tablet.

Decreased lymphocyte count is generally not a serious finding as total WBC count is normal. It may be due to recent viral or salmonella infection.
You may repeat the test after 3 months.

In short, findings are not serious.

Get well soon.

Hope I have answered your query.
Further queries are most welcome.

Please don't think much.It is not good for your baby's health.

There are many other findings in HIV infection besides low lymphocyte.Don't think about HIV.
I am sure HIV must have been screened during pregnancy.

They have not done that test yet, but I have done the mouth swab test and it was negative 2 months ago before I found out I was pregnant, I just wanted to know for own peace of mind, as I didn't want any surprises. I guess now I am obsessing over these test results. Would my WBC be normal if I was infected with it? Why would my lymph be so low? I guess that's why I am really freaked out. It seems so low compared to the normal range.

Brief Answer:
HIV may cause decrease in WBC count.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Sorry for replying late,
If HIV test is yet not advised, you may ask your doctor for same.
HIV may cause decrease in WBC count.Other parameters like hemoglobin, platelet etc may also get altered.

You have only mild deviations.
As we discussed earlier, low lymphocyte may be due to recent viral infection etc. These are acceptable.

Get well soon.

Hope I have answered your query.
